A large antique collectible chess set with backgammon. All handmade in the 60-70s by Vietnamese craftsmen.
The case-board 640*570*65 mm is made of mahogany covered with black especially durable varnish, inlaid with multi-colored natural mother-of-pearl, depicting scenes from the life of peasants, exotic landscapes, pagodas, fanzas, junks, birds, flowers, fish.
All figures and chips for backgammon are handmade, made of buffalo horn.
