Abram Iosifovich Khasin is an Honored Trainer of the USSR, an International Master in face-to-face competitions and a Grandmaster in correspondence play. A player of an active positional style, he was one of the strongest masters of the Soviet Union: he participated in 5 finals of the national championship, won at the board against T. Petrosian, P. Keres, D. Bronstein, M. Taimanov, L. Polugaevsky, E. Vasyukov... The ability to deeply delve into the essence of the position helped Khasin achieve great success in correspondence play.
The book presents about 150 bright and instructive games of A. Khasin, many of which he commented on himself. His students shared their memories of the Trainer: grandmasters E. Bareev, V.
