Werner Speckmann, Dr. jur., geboren am 21. August 1913 wohnhaft in Hamm in Westfalen, hat sich internationalen Ruf erworben als vielfach pramiierter Problemkomponist, langjahriger Vorsitzender der Deutschen Problemvereinigung „“Die Schwalbe“, als Verfasser reichhaltiger Problembucher und als Problemredakteur der „Deutschen Schachzeitung“. Sein Lieblingskind auf dem Problemgebiet ist die Miniatur und Kleinstaufgabe sowie der Neudeutsche logische Drei- und Mehrzuger, dessen Analyse das vorliegende tiefgrundige Buch gewidmet ist.
