The new work of the famous grandmaster, coach and theoretician A. Dreev is devoted to typical game techniques in the endgame. Avoiding the banal examples that roam the pages of textbooks, the author pays a lot of attention to unusual situations in which you have to make responsible independent decisions, and not rely only on memory and knowledge of basic positions. Almost all fragments are taken from the practice of elite grandmasters, including many examples of the work of the author, a recognized master of the game in the endings.
Carefully selected exercises will help the reader to consolidate the knowledge gained and increase their level of play in the endings, and most importantly & ndash; imbued with sympathy for this stage of the party, which is so important today.
For a wide range of chess lovers.
