This book is a small chronicle of all international chess tournaments (women and men) held about Georgia until 1971. The author, a famous Georgian chess player and journalist Tengiz Giorgadze, who was present at all the tournaments, shares his impressions of the vicissitudes of the struggle, gives tables of results, selected games and photographs. The book pays sufficient attention to the works of Nona Gaprindashvili and Nana Alexandria. The book also tells about the first international match of Georgian chess players with the Romanian team. Lots of photos.
