The program, compiled by Honored Coach, Master of Sports of the USSR V. Golenischev, is intended for teaching chess in the palaces and houses of the pioneers and is designed for coaches, teachers and leaders of circles working with young chess players. The program assumes that the participants know the moves of the figures, understand the purpose of the game, although they are unfamiliar with the more complex rules of the game. The curriculum is designed for 75 classes (2 per week, 2 hours each), a total of 150 hours. The scheme of the lesson is as follows: checking homework, explaining theoretical material, students recording homework and the practical part. The duration of the theoretical part of the lesson should not exceed 20 - 30 minutes, since the majority of those involved in & mdash; junior schoolchildren.
